The very young Džekas was taken from the owner, who, according to neighbors, used to mock the dog and beat it. Now Džekas feels like a free citizen of the shelter. He comes into the run only at night! He skillfully steals delicacies from the staff, always participates in preparing meat for meals - in short, a spoiled boy! A good-natured, although a bit grumpy puppy. He barks not angrily, just for fun and due to an excess of emotions. He tries to avoid strangers.

Dar visai jaunutis Džekas buvo atimtas iš šeimininko, kuris, kaimynų teigimu, tyčiojosi iš šuns, mušė jį. Dabar Džekas prieglaudoje jaučiasi tarsi laisvas gyventojas. Į voljerą užsuka tik nakčiai! Meistriškai kaulija iš darbuotojų skanėstų, visada dalyvauja pietums ruošiant mėsą,- žodžiu, išlepo vaikinas! Gerietis, nors ir šiek tiek irzlokas šuniukas. Loja jis nepiktai, šiaip dėl linksmumo ir emocijų pertekliaus. Stengiasi vengti svetimų žmonių.
