Emir as we named him, had severe rhinitis, calicivirus and herpes when he came to us. Due to the power of fleas he had anemia and due to unattended bladder infections he had a very irritated bladder causing him to urinate uncontrollably and emit a strong cat odor. Fortunately, he tested negative for AIDS and leukemia, so we could start treatment. Deworming and flea treatment, spaying, supportive antibiotics, pain and anti-inflammatory medication, boosting resistance,.... We sincerely hope for improvement because brave Emir deserves it. Man, man man,.... zo'n lieve kater in zo'n slechte toestand, wat een sukkel voor zo'n jonge kat, die niet gecastreerd en niet gechipt was, een ZWERVER dus. Emir zoals we hem gedoopt hebben, had zware niesziekte, calici en herpes toen hij bij ons binnenkwam. Door de macht van de vlooien had hij bloedarmoede en door onverzorgde blaasontstekingen zat hij met een zeer geprikkelde blaas waardoor hij ongecontroleerd plaste en een penetrante katerlucht verspreide. Gelukkig was hij aids en leucose negatief getest, zodat we de behandeling konden starten. Ontrworming en ontvlooiing, castratie, ondersteunende antibiotica, pijn en ontstekingsremmers, weerstand verhoger,.... Wij hopen van harte op verbetering want brave Emir verdient dat.
