Johnny has a difficult past behind him, marked first by mistreatment and then by the loss of the human companion who had taken him into their home. Despite these shocks, he has not lost the desire to trust and to work as a team: he is a dog that seeks contact and participation at every moment of the day. His main quality is cooperation. He is an alert and receptive dog, who loves to feel involved and to engage in search activities or mental games where he can use his sharp intelligence. For this very reason, Johnny needs a calm guide: when emotions rise, he can become a bit physically exuberant and needs help channeling his energy with balance. In relationships with other dogs, he can be competitive, but he has already shown that he can coexist well with balanced females. Whether he lives in an apartment or a house with a garden, what matters to him is not being an isolated element: Johnny needs a present relationship and to feel like an integral part of daily life. Johnny ha un passato difficile alle spalle, segnato prima da un maltrattamento e poi dalla perdita della compagna umana che lo aveva accolto in casa. Nonostante questi scossoni, non ha perso la voglia di fidarsi e di fare squadra: è un cane che cerca il contatto e la partecipazione in ogni momento della giornata. La sua dote principale è la collaborazione. È un cane sveglio e ricettivo, che ama sentirsi coinvolto e impegnarsi in attività di ricerca o giochi mentali dove può usare la sua spiccata intelligenza. Proprio per questo suo entusiasmo, Johnny ha bisogno di una guida calma: quando l’emozione sale può diventare un po' esuberante fisicamente e va aiutato a canalizzare l'energia con equilibrio. Nelle relazioni con gli altri cani può essere competitivo, ma ha già mostrato di saper convivere bene con femmine equilibrate. Che viva in appartamento o in una casa con giardino, ciò che conta per lui è non essere un elemento a sé stante: Johnny ha bisogno di un rapporto presente e di sentirsi parte integrante della quotidianità.
