On September 1st, 2019, someone put on a white shirt and confidently started the new school year, while another person without any remorse tied a dog to a tree in the Bolderājas forest and left him to his fate. Whether it was his own or someone else's dog, we don't know. It turns out the dog had a microchip registered, but the owner's contact details were incorrectly listed either intentionally or by mistake, and the owner listed in the database couldn't be found in real life. Since the time of his discovery, no one has shown any interest in the dog... In Ulubelē he was called Kasper. He is a young man with a sporty build, huge energy, great curiosity, and a desire to make friends. You could say that the spirit of a northerner only invites you for joint running and fighting, but the 5-year-old Kaspers has proven that he can also be relied upon as a house guard. In Ulubelē he appreciates his placement in a strategically important location and politely greets everyone who enters, never missing a single cat's walk past his yard. He immediately attracts attention, so the question often arises - why is Kaspers still at the shelter? The answer lies in his character. Friendly and kind with people, always happy for a treat or an opportunity to play with a female dog, and of course, to go on long walks. But that would be just a superficial description of Kasper. Actually, Kaspers sometimes likes to test the limits of his strength and influence, so he needs an owner with experience and determination to train and teach. An owner with a Big Name = Kasper's authority. It's important to note that a large part of the day will have to be spent on joint "outdoor" walks or training sessions. The possibility of living alone in the yard all day won't replace the necessary physical activities for Kasper, maybe only causing a desire to take a free stroll due to boredom. He likes company and team sports! Kaspers will be happy in a family where an active lifestyle is respected, spending time together in nature, learning and discovering something new. Definitely not a family with small children, because Kasper's strength and 'liveliness' isn't malicious, rather unpredictable. However, he is a good team member for hikes, runs, outdoor training, picnics - in short, a true scout! If you cannot provide him with a home, please support the maintenance of the athlete Kasper and the other residents at the shelter - we can only implement the no-kill principle together with like-minded people. Kaspers has been at Ulubelē for 2 years. That is a satisfaction - to help those who cannot take care of themselves.

2019.gada 1.septembrī kāds uzvilka baltu kreklu un apņēmīgi uzsāka jauno mācību gadu, bet kāds cits bez lieliem sirdsapziņas pārmetumiem piesēja suni Bolderājas mežā pie koka un atstāja likteņa varā. Savējo vai svešu – nezinām. Izrādās, sunim bija reģistrēts mikročips, bet saimnieka kontakti tīši vai netīši norādīti nepareizi un datu bāzē norādītais saimnieks reālajā dzīvē nav sameklējams. Kopš atrašanas brīža neviens par suni nav interesējies… Ulubelē viņu iesauca par Kasperu. Viņš ir jauneklis ar sportisku stāju, milzu enerģiju, lielu zinātkāri un vēlmi draudzēties. Var jau teikt, ka ziemeļnieka gēni aicināt aicina tikai uz kopīgu izskriešanos un dauzīšanos, taču 5 gadus vecais Kaspers pierādījis, ka uz viņu var paļauties arī kā uz mājas sargu. Ulubelē viņš novērtē savu atrašanos stratēģiski svarīgā vietā un godprātīgi uzrunā ikvienu ienācēju un nepalaiž garām neviena kaķa pastaigu gar viņa voljēru. Viņš uzreiz piesaista uzmanību, tāpēc tik bieži izskan jautājums – kāpēc Kaspers joprojām patversmē?! Atbilde meklējama viņa raksturā. Ar cilvēkiem labsirdīgs un draudzīgs, vienmēr priecājas par kārumiem vai iespēju paspēlēties ar kādu suņu meiteni un, protams, doties garās pastaigās. Bet tas būtu Kaspera virspusējais raksturojums. Patiesībā Kaspers reizēm mīl pārbaudīt sava spēka un ietekmes robežas, tāpēc viņam vajadzīgs saimnieks ar pieredzi un apņēmību skolot un mācīt. Saimnieks ar Lielo Burtu = Kaspera autoritāte. Svarīgi ņemt vērā, ka liela dienas daļa būs jāpavada kopīgās “ārpusmājas” pastaigās vai nodarbībās. Iespēja visu dienu dzīvoties vienam pašam pagalmā Kasperam neaizvietos nepieciešamās fiziskās nodarbības, varbūt tikai aiz gara laika radīs vēlmi paņemt brīvsoli. Viņam patīk kompānija un komandu sports! Kaspers būs laimīgs par ģimeni, kurā cieņā ir aktīvs dzīvesveids, kopīga laika pavadīšana brīvā dabā, apgūstot un izzinot kaut ko jaunu. Noteikti ne ģimene ar maziem bērniem, jo Kaspera spēks un “lecīgums” nav ļaunprātīgs, bet drīzāk neaprēķināms. Taču viņš ir labs komandas biedrs pārgājienos, skrējienos, brīvdabas treniņos, piknikos – vārdu sakot, īsts skauts!
