♀, ca. 2-3 years old intelligent - social 10407 Berlin VERMITTLUNGSHILFE Kiara was born around 2023 and is currently on a foster home in 10407 Berlin. Kiara came from an animal hoarding household where she lived with about 20 other cats. Despite this difficult past, she has developed into a very social and intelligent cat. She is curious, trainable, and orientates herself to both people and fellow animals. Kiara is gentle, interactive, and clingy. She follows her trusted people through the apartment and seeks their proximity without being intrusive. She is not a typical lap cat but likes to sleep with people at night. She is very playful, requires several active play sessions daily, and prefers physical play, feather wands, or balls. Initially a bit shy towards strangers, she warms up quickly with patience. She is not bothered by everyday noises and shows herself to be very adaptable and clever. Kiara is also well-trained and already responds positively to clicker training. Kiara is not rehomed in single housing. She requires a compatible, approximately the same age, and also active feline companion. Alternatively, she can be rehomed with a second cat. A home in suitable apartment living with a secured balcony or catio is ideal. A walk is not recommended. A quiet home without small children (starting around age 12) would be suitable for her. Kiara is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated (valid until the end of 2026) and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. A current blood test is unremarkable. Currently, she has a gum inflammation, which is why a dental cleaning including dental X-rays is recommended. Prior to rehoming, an echocardiogram should be performed. Kiara stammt aus einem Animal-Hoarding-Haushalt, in dem sie mit rund 20 weiteren Katzen lebte. Trotz dieser schwierigen Vergangenheit hat sie sich zu einer sehr sozialen und intelligenten Katze entwickelt. Sie ist neugierig, lernfähig und orientiert sich sowohl an Menschen als auch an Artgenossen. Kiara zeigt sich sanftmütig, interaktiv und anhänglich. Sie folgt ihren Bezugspersonen gerne durch die Wohnung und sucht ihre Nähe, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Eine klassische Schoßkatze ist sie nicht, schläft aber gerne nachts beim Menschen. Sie ist sehr verspielt, benötigt täglich mehrere aktive Spielphasen und bevorzugt dabei körperbetontes Spiel sowie Federangeln oder Bälle. Fremden gegenüber ist sie zunächst etwas scheu, taut aber mit Geduld schnell auf. Sie ist unempfindlich gegenüber Alltagsgeräuschen und zeigt sich insgesamt sehr anpassungsfähig und klug. Kiara ist zudem gut trainierbar und reagiert bereits positiv auf Clickertraining. Kiara wird nicht in Einzelhaltung vermittelt. Sie benötigt zwingend einen passenden, etwa gleichaltrigen und ebenfalls aktiven Katzenpartner. Alternativ kann sie mit einer Zweitkatze vermittelt werden. Ein Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung mit gesichertem Balkon oder Catio ist ideal. Freigang wird nicht empfohlen. Ein ruhiger Haushalt ohne kleine Kinder (ab ca. 12 Jahren) wäre für sie passend. Kiara ist kastriert, gechippt, vollständig geimpft (gültig bis Ende 2026) und negativ auf FIV und FeLV getestet. Ein aktuelles Blutbild ist unauffällig. Derzeit besteht eine Zahnfleischentzündung, weshalb eine Zahnsanierung inklusive dentalem Röntgen empfohlen wird. Vorab sollte ein Herzultraschall erfolgen.
