Issued by a sadly renowned working dog breeding facility, purchased by a couple of senior citizens who kept him alive in a makeshift shelter of about 2m², with the only outings at night on an electric collar, MARCEL had a very rough start in life... Today he's doing better, but the road ahead is still long before he's a well-adjusted dog. After one year of behavioral rehabilitation, MARCEL still struggles with contact with strangers and new situations. We are looking for compassionate adopters with knowledge of canine behavior (or willing to learn). It will be essential to live in a house with a well-fenced yard and have a room or a doghouse/garage (isolated and comfortable) to accommodate him, as he is uncomfortable indoors. He knows how to wear a muzzle, enjoys walks, and chewing. He has made enormous progress! MARCEL is rated 3/4, all will be explained directly at the shelter :)

Issus d'un élevage de chien de travail tristement réputé, acheté par un couple de personnes âgés qui l'ont fait vivre dans un chenil de fortune d'environ 2m² avec des sorties uniquement la nuit en collier électrique, Marcel a très mal commencé dans la vie... Aujourd'hui il va mieux mais la route sera encore longue avant d'avoir un chien bien dans ses pattes. Après 1 an de rééducation, Marcel a encore du mal avec le contact avec des inconnus et les nouvelles situations. Nous recherchons pour lui des adoptants bienveillants et ayant des connaissances en comportement canin (ou prêts à apprendre). Il faudra impérativement vivre en maison avec un jardin bien clôturé et disposer d'une pièce ou d'un chenil/garage (isolé et confortable) pour l'accueillir car il est mal à l'aise en intérieur. Il sait porter sa muselière, aime les balades et la mastication. Il a fait d'énorme progrès ! Marcel est évalué 3/4, tout vous sera expliqué directement au refuge :)
