Maxine was found several months ago in an area outside Uppsala before she came to the cat shelter. Maxine is a cautious female cat who does not yet trust us humans - it can be seen in her eyes that she constantly watches every movement. She seeks security with her roommate Marley and they are usually found close together in the cat tree under a blanket. Maxine radiates kindness while she needs time to gather the courage to start showing who she is, step by step. Maxine needs a quiet home with understanding that it will take time before she eventually becomes completely secure. As the picture shows, she is very close to Marley and therefore they would like to move together. We are convinced that with time and patience, Maxine will bloom into the wonderful individual who is hiding inside.

Maxine blev matad några månader i ett område utanför Uppsala innan hon kom till katthemmet.Maxine är en försiktig honkatt som inte litar på oss människor ännu – det syns på hennes blick som ständigt iakttar varje rörelse. Hon söker trygghet hos sin rumskompis Marley och de hittas oftast tätt intill i klösträdet under en filt. Maxine utstrålar vänlighet samtidigt som hon behöver tid på sig att våga börja visa vem hon är, ett steg i taget.Maxine behöver ett lugnt hem med förståelse för att det tar tid innan hon så småningom blir helt trygg. Som bilden visar är hon väldigt nära Marley och de vill därför flytta tillsammans. Vi är övertygade om att med tid och tålamod kommer Maxine blomma ut till den underbara individ som döljer sig där inne.
