Adopt Val

Val is a tall elegant greyhound. She walks nicely on the lead although she is a little nervous in an urban environment. She just needs patience and time to get to know you and then she is your best friend. Val is fine meeting other dogs out on walks, even the small fluffy ones. She is also happy to be left on her own for for short periods and would be fine as an only dog. She would love a garden with some grass as she doesn't like to toilet on gravel or hard surfaces. Val has been in a home for a short while and was easy to house train, she was returned as she wouldn't jump into the car and appeared a little stressed traveling. We have found she travels ok in our van and with other greyhounds, so maybe a bigger car would work. Val is a lovely girl and is just waiting for the right person to take her home.
