What little we know about VELA is that she was found wandering alone in the mountains of Málaga, but just by seeing her, you can tell the horror she has had to endure to become so distrustful of humans. She is a curious little pup who has suffered a lot in the past, been ignored, and therefore distrusts people, though she is slowly learning to be a dog. It’s clear that she is one of the most curious pups, which shows, but due to her fear, it’s hard for her to open up. Although she finds human contact challenging, she lets herself be handled without any problem, whether it’s putting on her leash or during walks. She is very social with other dogs, coexists with dogs of different sizes, genders, and even more nervous than she is, which helps her adapt better. She loves to seek them out and rely on them, so having a brother or sister would be greatly helpful to her. Something that VELA loves to do is to make the most of the few rays of sun and lie there basking in the warmth. VELA only needs time, patience, and lots of love.

Lo poco que sabemos sobre Vela es que fue encontrada en los montes de Málaga deambulando sola, pero solo con verla podemos ver el horror que ha tenido que pasar para desconfiar tanto en el ser humano. Es una perrita que ha sufrido mucho en el pasado, ha sido ignorada, por lo tanto desconfía de las personas y poco a poco está aprendiendo a como ser un perro. Se nota que es una perrita de lo más curiosa, lo cual muestra, pero debido a su miedo le cuesta soltarse. Aunque le cuesta el contacto humano, se deja manipular sin ningún problema, ya sea ponerle la correa o a la hora de pasear. Es muy sociable con perros, convive con otros perros de diferente tamaño, género y más nerviosos que ella, los cuales le ayudan a adaptarse mejor, le encanta buscarlos y apoyarse en ellos, por lo cual un hermanito/a sería de gran ayuda para ella. Algo que le encanta a Vela es aprovechar los pocos rayos de sol que hay y quedarse tumbada aprovechando el calorcito. Vela solo necesita tiempo, paciencia y mucho amor.
