Ze noemen me de liefdebeest omdat ik zoveel liefde te geven heb. Dit kan soms ervoor zorgen dat ik een beetje jaloers word op andere honden als ik mijn mensen moet delen. Ik vind sommige mannelijke honden in het dierenasiets een beetje overweldigend, maar ik ben blij om mijn hok te delen met 3 gekke Setters die me doen lachen. Als je op zoek bent naar een hond die je met aandacht overlaadt ben ik je jongen, maar als je op zoek bent naar een clown zullen of mijn Setter-vrienden, Enzo of Jordan, perfect zijn!

He has a ‘best friend’, Giovanni,a young male dog at the shelter, so with a slow and careful introduction, he can probably be a great companion for another dog. Achilles is estimated to be about 5 years old, and weighs around 30 kilos. He’s s a lively and energetic dog, that needs an active family, willing to work with him both physically and mentally. A home where he can release his energy and get his daily dose of activities. If there are children in his future home, they must be older,not because Achilles doesn’t like children but because he might knock them over in his joy. He does not like cats and should not share a home with one. Since we have no idea if Achilles has ever lived inside a home, he will most likely have to learn a lot about being a family dog, he needs time, patience and love. They call me the love-bug because I have so much love to give. This can sometimes make me a little jealous of other dogs if I have to share my humans. I find some of the male dogs at the shelter a bit overwhelming but I’m happy to share my pen with Giovanni because he’s a nice calm boy. If you’re looking for a dog to shower you with affection then I’m your boy!
