This malamute was running around the whole city. Like most other strays. But this one did not return home and we were informed that she needed treatment. The dog was constantly coughing and had difficulty breathing and had a runny nose. On 05/15/2023, we took her to the clinic for tests. The tests did not show anything specific, but dozens of ticks fell off the dog, so this could be the beginning of piroplasmosis, which is not yet visible in the tests, so we started treatment and treated her for ticks. As of 05/30/2023, the treatment continues, the dog breathes better, the nasal discharge has stopped, she does not cough, and she has become active. For now, we are observing and continuing the therapy.

Ця маламут давно бігала по всьому місту. Як і більшість інших на самовигулі. Але ця не повераталася додому і нам написали, що вона потребує лікування. Собака постійно кашляла і в неї важке дихання і текло з носа. 15.05.2023 ми її забрали та відвезли в клініку на аналізи. Нічого конкретного аналізи не показали, але з собаки десятками сипалися кліщі, тому це міг бути початок піроплазмозу, який ще не видно по аналізам, тому ми почали лікування та обробили від кліща. На момент 30.05.2023 лікування продовжується, собака дихає краще, виділення з носа пройшли, не кашляє, стала активною. Поки що спостерігаємо і продовжуємо терапію.
