Alisha came to us from a shelter; we don’t know anything about her past. The beginning was tough: completely frightened, she would hide at the back of her kennel and didn’t dare to come closer. With lots of patience and respect, Alisha gradually started to gain confidence, began to enjoy cuddles and human company. She’s made wonderful progress, but she still has a long way to go—she seems to carry lingering traces of a difficult start to life. Outdoors, she reacts to everything (cars, bicycles, other dogs...). Very affectionate and playful, Alisha will need some time to feel comfortable. Once she’s confident, however, she can be quite rough in her interactions. Alisha will need a present family that understands canine behavior and is committed to her training, helping her navigate social interactions. It’s highly recommended that she receive ongoing guidance from a dog trainer. She’ll do well living with older teenagers and should be placed in a calm environment.

Alisha est arrivée de fourrière, nous ne connaissons pas son passé. Les débuts ont été difficiles : complètement apeurée, elle se cachait au fond du box et n'osait pas s'approcher. Avec beaucoup de patience et respect, Alisha a commencé à prendre confiance, à apprécier les câlins et la compagnie des humains. Elle a fait de beaux progrès, mais il lui reste un long chemin à parcourir : elle semble garder des marques d'un début de vie difficile. En extérieur elle réagit à tout (voitures, vélos, congénères...). Très câline et rigolote, Alisha aura besoin d'un peu de temps pour se sentir à l'aise. Une fois en confiance, elle se montre très brute dans ses interactions. Alisha aura besoin d'une famille présente, connaisseuse des codes canins et investie dans son éducation pour l'accompagner dans ses interactions. Un suivi auprès d'un éducateur canin est très recommandé. Elle pourra vivre avec des grands adolescents et devra vivre dans un environnement calme.
