Almanzor has been living in a very cramped and isolated space for almost a year. He arrived after being hit by a car and was perfectly treated. Almanzor is almost 7 years old and is a magnificent cat, very affectionate and sociable. He is also quite a glutton. When he sees us, he meows to get our attention, and even more so if you have treats. Sadly, he tested positive for FIV (he is an immune kitten), which means he must live isolated from the other cats in the our shelter. Obviously, he doesn't like being isolated because he loves human attention, but being positive makes him completely invisible despite being in good condition. We would love for someone to take him in or adopt him so he can have company, socialize, enjoy everything he is missing out on, and start a normal life after all the hardships he has already endured. In a quiet environment (like a home) and with a good adaptation, FIV cats can coexist with healthy cats without problems. Think about giving him a spot, any home, no matter how small, is better than where he is now. If you have any doubts, write to us.--------- Almanzor was picked up after a police alert, he had been hit by a car, with a right femur fracture and a left hand finger crushing, he is missing some fingers from a previous hit-and-run. Almanzor is a very nice stray cat, he arrived in very bad condition at ALBA and despite everything, he has been well treated. When he sees us, he meows to catch our attention, and even more so if you have treats, he is a bit of a glutton, and in the street, he has gone through many hardships. He is still recovering and when he is well, he will need a quiet and safe home where he can receive affection and attention. Osteosynthesis of the right femur has been performed on his hind leg. He is FIV positive, FELV negative. He is already neutered and vaccinated.

Almanzor lleva un año viviendo en un espacio muy reducido y aislado. Llegó tras ser atropellado y se dejó curar a la perfección. Almanzor tiene casi 7 años y es un gato majísimo, muy cariñoso y sociable. Además es bastante tragoncete. Cuando nos ve maúlla para que le hagamos caso y más aún si tenemos chuches. Tristemente, ha dado positivo en FIV (es un gatito inmuno) lo que implica que en el albergue ha de vivir aislado del resto de gatos. Evidentemente no le gusta estar aislado porque le encanta la atención humana, pero ser positivo lo convierte en un gato totalmente invisible a pesar de estar en buena forma. Nos encantaría que alguien pudiese acogerle o adoptarle para que pudiese tener compañía, socializar, disfrutar de todo lo que se está perdiendo y empezar a tener una vida normal después de todas las penurias que ha pasado ya. En un entorno tranquilo (como lo es un hogar) y con una buena adaptación, los gatos FIV pueden convivir con gatos sanos sin problema. Piensa en hacerle un huequito, cualquier hogar, por pequeño que sea, es mejor que donde está ahora. Si tienes dudas escríbenos. --------------------------------------------------------- Almanzor se recogió tras aviso de policía, había sido atropellado, fractura de fémur derecho y aplastamiento de dedos mano izquierda, le faltan algunos deditos de un atropello anterior. Almanzor es un gatazo callejero muy majo, llegó en muy malas condiciones a ALBA y a pesar de todo se ha dejado curar muy bien. Cuando nos ve maúlla para captar nuestra atención y más si llevas chuches, es un poco zampón, en la calle se pasan muchas penurias. Aún está recuperándose y cuando esté bien necesitara un hogar tranquilo y seguro donde vivir y recibir mimos y atenciones. En la pata trasera se le ha hecho osteosíntesis de fémur derecho.
