Anika is een knappe tabby-kittie die door de lokale gezondheidsautoriteiten in het gebied Calle Santa Gema (San Pedro Alcántara) is opgepakt en is niet gechipt. Ze is net verhuisd naar een kamer en is momenteel voorzichtig met zowel mensen als andere katten. Dit is normaal, want alles is nieuw voor haar en ze heeft tijd nodig om zich te gaan settelen. Toch neemt ze stapje voor stapje kleine stappen: ze accepteert lekkers en laat wat aaien toe, hoewel ze dat nog niet echt geniet. Het is nog vroeg in de dag, en met geduld, rust en respect zal ze zich steeds veiliger voelen. Anika heeft tijd nodig om zich te gaan settelen en te leren vertrouwen. Anika is a pretty tabby kitten who was picked up by the local health authorities in the Calle Santa Gema area (San Pedro Alcántara) and was not microchipped. She has just been moved to a room and, for the moment, is wary of both people and other cats. This is normal, as everything is new to her and she needs time to settle in. Even so, she is gradually taking small steps: she accepts treats and allows some stroking, although she doesn’t quite enjoy it yet. It’s early days, and with patience, calm and respect, she will start to feel more and more secure. Anika needs time to settle in and start to trust.
