It is a good dog, very obedient and patient, independent but affectionate with those he trusts. He likes long walks and sniffing everything. He does not pull on the leash. He needs a quiet home and a routine, as he is a dog that gets stressed by sudden changes or crowds. The Balú needs an experienced adopter who understands that the Balú needs time to trust you, but when he does, he is a fantastic dog. És un gos bo, molt obedient i pacient, independent però afectuós amb qui es guanya la seva confiança. Li agraden les llargues passejades i olorar-ho tot. No tira de la corretja. Necessita una llar tranquil·la i una rutina per què és un gos que l’estressen els canvis bruscos o les aglomeracions. El Balú necessita un adoptant amb experiència amb gossos i que comprengui que el Balú necessita un temps per agafar-te confiança, però quan ho fa és un gos fantàstic.
