Onze Barking Mad Dog Show is een van de grootste en leukste evenementen op ons kalender. U kunt nu zaterdag 22 augustus 2026 in uw agenda zetten. Dit evenement vindt plaats op de gronden van het prachtige The Greyhound Inn en Hotel in Usk. We kunnen niet wachten om al het werk van ons team tot leven te zien komen en hopen u daar allemaal te zien. Inschrijving voor de klassen is 2,50 pond per klasse of 15 pond inclusief. Deze kunnen worden gekocht op de dag of via de link hieronder. Er zijn prijzen voor elke categorie 1e-4e en onze winnaars van 1e plek krijgen een uitnodiging terug voor Best in Show. Registratie begint om 11:00 uur en het show start om 12:00 uur. Onze doelstelling is om op tijd te beginnen en rond 15:00 uur te eindigen, dit kan vertraagd worden als klassen langer duren, tijden zullen worden aangekondigd via ons PA-systeem. Parkeerkosten gelden, die 3 pond per voertuig per dag zijn en betaalbaar op aankomst, onze vrijwilligers accepteren zowel contant als kaart (contant zal helpen bij snellere betalingen zodat u sneller binnen kunt). Het parkeerterrein bevindt zich in de velden naast het oude garage op de hoofdweg en onze stewards zullen zichtbaar zijn om u veilig naar binnen te leiden. Volg de weg rond, langs de kerk aan uw linkerhand. De weg bocht linksaf langs de winkel aan uw linkerhand. Ga door met deze weg richting buiten Usk. Het cricketveld zal aan uw rechterkant zijn wanneer u Usk verlaat. Blijf op deze weg 2 mijl en wij zijn aan uw rechterkant, u kunt ons niet missen. Het is ook belangrijk om op te merken dat veel satellietnavigaties u ervan weerhouden om Usk binnen te rijden en u over de heuvels brengen, wat erg smal is, dus probeer te vermijden om gebruik te maken van satellietnavigatie. We zoeken altijd naar donatie-items zoals dekens, lekkers en speelgoed. Onze chariteitswinkels zijn in Merthyr Tydfil, Pontyclun en Pontypridd, voor shopping en donaties. Our Barking Mad Dog Show is one of the biggest and most fun events in our diary. You can now pop Saturday 22nd August 2026 in your diaries. This event will take place on the grounds of the beautiful The Greyhound Inn and Hotel in Usk. We are thrilled to welcome back Addis as one of our supporting sponsors and KK Solutions as our print sponsor. We really cannot wait to see all the effort from our team come to life and would love to see you all there. Entry into the classes is £2.50 per class or £15 all inclusive. These can be purchased either on the day or by using the link below. There will prizes for each category 1st-4th and our 1st place winners will be invited back for Best in Show. Registration opens at 11am and show will start at 12 noon. We aim to run to schedule and finish around 3pm, this could be delayed if classes overrun, timings will be announced over our PA system. Parking charges apply, which are £3 per vehicle for the day and can be paid on arrival and our volunteers will be accepting both cash and card (cash will help to speed up payments so you can get into the show quicker). The carpark is situated in the fields next to the old garage on the main road and our stewards will be visible to guide you in safely. Follow the road round, past the church on your left. The road curves round to the left past the corner shop on the left. Keep following that road back out of Usk. The Cricket ground will be on your right as you leave Usk. Stay on that road for 2 miles and we are on the right hand side, you can not miss us. It is also important to add that many sat navs take you off before you get into Usk and bring you over the hills which is really narrow, so try to avoid using sat navigation.
