She is active and energetic when having fun, but she also has a gentle, loving side and enjoys nothing more than curling up for cuddles with her favourite people. Because she is a large, enthusiastic girl, she may accidentally knock over very small children during play, but her intentions are always loving and friendly. She is a resilient, affectionate girl who would make a wonderful companion for a lucky family. 📖 Beatrice’s Story 📖 Beatrice was sadly found alone on an open field beside a busy road in March 2026. When she was rescued, it was immediately clear that something was wrong as she was struggling to walk. We took her to the vet, where she was diagnosed with Babesiosis and a broken leg, likely caused by being hit by a car. She urgently needed surgery and thanks to the incredible generosity of our Whispaws supporters, enough funds were raised to give Beatrice the urgent treatment she needed. We are delighted to say that her surgery was a success and she has made a fantastic recovery.
