Benny could live with another calm sighthound or large breed dog with a similar temperament, as well as primary school aged children who are comfortable around larger breeds. He can be left for a few hours once settled, although leaving times will need to be built up gradually. Benny will also need adopters willing to continue some housetraining and provide guidance as he adjusts to his new home. In return, you’ll gain a loving, fun, and loyal companion who is ready to become a valued member of the family. Benny is a 4-year-old affectionate boy looking for a home with adopters who will help him settle into family life. He is confident and excitable when meeting new people, happily approaching everyone he meets, although he can be a little bouncy at times. Benny is also confident around other dogs and enjoys having walking buddies, but he is quite independent and equally happy doing his own thing. With a medium energy level, Benny loves heading out for walks and then curling up on the sofa afterwards for a well-earned snooze. He adores playing with toys and would make a fantastic companion for the right family.
