Our dearest lovebird pair has learned to know and love each other here and would like to move into a permanent home together. Achmed came to us on September 13, 2019, from poor husbandry conditions. BINGO (*2003) arrived with us on March 7, 2020. We do not know their exact ages. Achmed has an old wing injury that makes flying a bit difficult, but it is not too serious. In contrast, he can climb much better. Unfortunately, BINGO was kept alone after his partner passed away. During this time, he developed into a strong rupfer. To rule out the possibility that his matted plumage is caused by a disease, we tested him for the Circovirus. The result, however, was thankfully negative. A home is sought where they can live in a very large aviary or a bird room. Due to their impaired flight ability, they need many climbing opportunities that are connected to each other.
