Il est joueur avec les autres chiens, mais ose se montrer un peu insistant, si bien qu'il lui arrive régulièrement de se faire grogner par les autres chiens. Il est intelligent et obéissant, mais lorsqu'il apprend de nouvelles choses, Boris éprouve un certain stress. Une fois qu'il a compris ce que vous voulez dire, il est prêt à tout pour vous. Les promenades dans la circulation ne sont pas faites pour le plaisir de Boris, il préfère les promenades dans la nature. Boris est propre, il connaît la cage et peut rester seul pendant quelques heures. Il aboie rarement, mais s'il n'obtient pas ce qu'il veut, il peut pleurer beaucoup.
