Update 19.12.2025: Brads reis bij ons begon in oktober 2023, toen hij voor de dierenasiel werd achtergelaten. Sinds die dag heeft hij geduldig gewacht, hoppend dat iemand hem zou zien en hem de kans zou geven die hij echt verdient. Brady is een zeer speciaal persoon. Als hij aandacht wil, strekt hij zachtjes zijn poot uit – zijn stil en ontroerende manier om liefde te vragen. Hij is extreem mensengezind en geniet diep van menselijke aandacht en knuffels. Brady is een rustige, zachte hond die rustige momenten liefheeft, maar ook geniet van speeltijd in de tuin met zijn beste vriendin Naomi. Hij biedt werkelijk het perfecte evenwicht tussen plezier en ontspanning. Dit jaar is Brady helaas gediagnosticeerd met Cushing-ziekte, een hormonale aandoening die het lichaamsbalans beïnvloedt. Voor hem betekent dit levenslang medicatie en regelmatige controle om zijn toestand stabiel te houden. Met de juiste behandeling (die hij krijgt), kunnen honden met Cushing-ziekte een goed en comfortabel leven leiden, maar het vereist inzet, zorg en begrip. De litteken op zijn voorhoofd is ook verbonden met deze ziekte – een klein teken dat een deel van zijn verhaal vertelt. We hopen iemand te vinden die niet afgeschrikt wordt door zijn ziekte, maar in plaats daarvan ziet wat de liefdevolle en zachte companion Brady werkelijk is en hem het eeuwige thuis geeft waar hij op wacht. BRADY is ongetwijfeld één van de meest liefdevolle gezichten in het asiel op dit moment. Aangekoppeld buiten het asiel in oktober van vorig jaar, samen met een zak voedsel, smelt Brady sindsdien hartjes. Vanaf het eerste moment was hij super vriendelijk en begroette iedereen met een wapperende staart. Hij kon niet genoeg knuffels krijgen en nam al het liefde op dat hij van mensen kon krijgen. Brady is een alomvattend geweldige hond. Of je nu op avonturen in de natuur zit of op zoek bent naar een knuffelmaatje voor gezellige avonden thuis, Brady is voor alles klaar. Hij is een sportieve jongen met een kalme aanpak, waardoor hij het ideale evenwicht vormt tussen plezier en ontspanning. Bovendien is hij sociaal met andere honden. Maar hier is de deal: als je kunt weerstaan om verliefd te raken op die zielige ogen, kunnen we je niet helpen. Wees deel van het project en laat Brady zijn magie op je uitoefenen! Hij past goed bij andere honden.

Description/Updates/Pictures: Update July 2026: Update December 2025: Brady’s journey with us began in October 2023, when he was abandoned in front of the shelter. Since that day, he has been waiting patiently, hoping that someone will see him and give him the chance he truly deserves. Brady is a very special soul. When he wants affection, he gently stretches out his paw – his quiet and touching way of asking for love. He is incredibly people-oriented and deeply enjoys human attention and cuddles. Brady is a calm, and gentle dog who loves peaceful moments, but he also enjoys playtime in the yard with his best friend Naomi. He truly offers the perfect balance between fun and relaxation. This year, Brady was unfortunately diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, a hormonal condition that affects the body’s balance. For him, this means lifelong medication and regular check-ups are needed to keep his condition stable. With the right treatment (which he has), dogs with Cushing’s can live a good and comfortable life, but it requires commitment, care and understanding. The scar on his forehead is also connected to this illness – a small mark that tells part of his story. We hope to find a special person who won’t be discouraged by his illness, but instead sees the loving and gentle companion Brady truly is and gives him the forever home he has been waiting for. Update February 2024: Brady is undoubtedly one of the sweetest faces in the shelter right now. Tied up outside the shelter last October, along with a bag of food. Brady has been melting hearts ever since. From the first moment, he's been super friendly, greeting everyone with a wagging tail. He couldn't get enough cuddles and soaked up all the love he could get from people. Brady is an all-around wonderful dog. Whether you're into outdoor adventures or looking for a snuggle buddy for cozy nights at home, Brady is up for it all. He's a sporty guy with a calm demeanor, making him the perfect balance of fun and chill. Plus, he's social with other dogs too.
