Oh hello dears, I’m Cassie it is a pleasure to meet you! I’m a lovable, snuggly girl searching for my forever family. If you’re looking for a best friend who adores cuddles and will always be by your side, I’m your pooch! I love spending time with my humans and think there’s nothing better than being part of the family. I’d prefer to be the only pet in my new home—I’ve never had to share my space before, and cats are just too tempting to chase! That said, I’m definitely open to making some walking friends once I’ve settled in. I am currently sharing my foster home with a bearded dragon, so small enclosed animals shouldn’t be a problem. Right now, I’m carrying a little extra weight (who doesn’t love an extra treat or two?), but I’m ready to get moving! I’d love an active family to take me on regular walks and help me stick to my feeding plan. I do have some mild arthritis as us old ladies get from time to time, I’m not up for extreme amounts of exercise but I do enjoy a potter most days. At first, I’d like my humans to be around most of the time—I thrive on love and attention—but with a little time and patience, I will be okay with you popping out for quick errands.
