Kennis maak met Criss Cross, een groot hartig, gevoelig jongen die bij ons is aangekomen van een fokker en leert om zijn zelfvertrouwen in de wereld te vinden. Criss Cross kwam als een onzeker persoon aan, die extra geduld, begrip en zachte zorg nodig had. Hij had in het verleden zeer weinig formeel omgaan gehad en was vanaf het begin soms mopperig of onzeker als hij niet zeker was. Hij had langzame, zorgvuldige kennismakingen met mensen, plekken en ervaringen nodig terwijl hij leerde om zijn nieuwe omgeving te begrijpen. Sinds hij hier is gekomen, heeft Criss Cross prachtige vooruitgang geboekt. Hoewel hij misschien nog wat schuw kan zijn bij het ontmoeten van iemand nieuw, zoekt hij zodra hij zich op zijn gemak voelt actief aandacht en knuffels, vaak probeert hij kussen terug te geven met zijn grote liefdevolle hart. Hij leert nog steeds zijn manieren en, als een grote jongen, kan hij soms zijn grootte gebruiken om door te lopen als hij opgewonden is, maar hij reageert goed op duidelijke, kalme richtlijnen. Criss Cross krijgt zelfvertrouwen met zijn halsbandtraining en heeft al wandelingen buiten de redding genoten, comfortabel een goede afstand langs de weg afleggend. Hij kan iets onzeker zijn als mensen achter hem lopen, maar een van zijn aandoenlijke vondsten is dat hij troost vindt als je teruggaat en je naar hem toe draait terwijl je achterwaarts loopt, waardoor hij zijn wachtpost kan laten zakken. Zachte moedwilligheid, langzame kennismakingen en rustige, veilige tuinontdekkingstochten helpen hem om zijn vertrouwen verder op te bouwen. Hij zal een rustige, alleen volwassen thuis nodig hebben met ervaren adoptanten die geduld, structuur en bevestiging kunnen bieden terwijl hij verder groeit. Hij zou liever de enige hond in het huis zijn. Criss Cross waardeert ook een rustige plek tijdens het eten, wat hem helpt om zich veilig en veilig te voelen. Hij zal een huis zonder katten nodig hebben omdat hij eroverheen geïnteresseerd in is. Criss Cross wordt momenteel geobserveerd door onze dierenartsen voor een tranend oog en ontvangt behandeling om hem comfortabeler te maken. Criss Cross is een werkelijk knappe, zachte en teder reus met veel liefde om te geven. Met tijd, geduld en het juiste begripshuis zal hij bloeien tot de trouwe, toegewijde companion die hij bedoeld is om te zijn.

Meet Criss Cross, a big-hearted, sensitive lad who has come to us from a breeder and is slowly learning to find his confidence in the world. When Criss Cross arrived as a worried soul, needing extra patience, understanding, and gentle care. He had very little formal handling in his past, and early on could be grumbly or anxious when unsure. He required slow, careful introductions to people, places, and experiences while he started to understand his new surroundings. While Criss Cross can still be a little shy when meeting new people, once he feels comfortable his affectionate side really shines through. He actively seeks out fuss and cuddles and has become quite the cuddle bug, often trying to return kisses to the people he trusts. He is learning his manners well and responds nicely to calm, consistent guidance. Criss Cross is growing in confidence with his harness training and now enjoys daily walks beyond the rescue. He has even started greeting some people on his walks for a hello and perhaps a treat or a fuss. He can still feel a little unsure if people are behind him, but gentle encouragement and reassurance help him relax and continue exploring the world around him. He has also started learning about kennel cleanliness, with staff helping him practice good toilet habits to make the transition into a home life easier for him in the future. When enjoying some quiet time on his own, Criss Cross loves exploring his toy collection, especially anything involving treats or food puzzles. Criss Cross would prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can fully relax and enjoy all the attention for himself. He will need a calm, adult-only home with experienced adopters who can continue helping him build confidence at his own pace. He also appreciates having a quiet space at mealtimes where he feels safe and secure. Criss Cross will need a home without cats as he is overly interested in them. Criss Cross is a truly gorgeous, sweet-natured gentle giant with so much love to give. With patience, understanding, endless bum scratches and plenty of tasty treats, he has every chance to flourish into the loyal and devoted companion he is meant to be. Criss Cross will need more than one meet and greet with his prospective adopters to allow him time to build a bond and feel comfortable with them before being adopted.
