01.03.2025Kastren: ja Curly werd aangetroffen in een verschrikkelijke staat op de Almiros-strand in het noorden van het eiland Korfus. Hij was mager, zijn vacht rook erg, hij was echt bang. Door een vriendelijke meisje en haar hond begon hij haar te vertrouwen en kwam hij dichterbij en ze kon hem vangen en brengen naar ons. Vanaf de eerste dag bij ons merkten we dat hij vaak met zijn rechter achterpoot hinkt. De röntgenfoto bij de dierenarts liet zien dat zijn knieband is doorsneden. Helaas kunnen de lokale dierenartsen hier geen operatie uitvoeren vanwege zijn gewicht van 22 kg en hebben we een specialist nodig die probeert de band te verbinden. Maar omdat Curly super actief is, vrezen ze dat zelfs een operatie voor niets kan zijn. Vanwege zijn activiteit is de herstelperiode na de operatie niet mogelijk. Het is ons aangeraden om tot nu toe bepaalde soorten ondersteunende supplementen voor gewrichten en botten te proberen. Curly is een liefdevol, gelukkig jongen, maar hier op het eiland kunnen we geen geschikte hulp voor hem vinden.

01.03.2025Castration : yes Curly was found abandoned in horrible state on Almiros beach in the north of Corfu Island. He was skinny, his fur was very stinky, he was really frightened. Thanks to one kind girl and her dog, he started to trust her and he was coming closer and she was able to catch him and bring him to us. Since the first day with us, we noticed that he is very often limping on the right behind leg. The x-ray at the veterinary showed that his ligament in the knee is cut. Unfortunately because of his weight of 22 kg, the local vets cannot do any operation here and we need a specialist that can try to connect the ligament. But because Curly is super active they afraid that even operation can be done for nothing. Because of his activity, the after operation process won’ t be possible. It was recommended to us to try so far some kind of supportive supplements for joints and bones.Curly is sweet happy boy, but here in the island we are not able to find the suitable help for him.
