Diana is a rough-coated terrier - a medium-sized female dog who will steal your heart from the first meeting. She is adorable, charming and completely focused on people. If you are looking for a dog that loves closeness and contact, Diana will be a perfect match. She jumps onto your knees by herself, wraps her paws around your neck and cuddles with you as if saying: "You are my world." She loves being brushed and petted - she comes to you, leans in and absorbs your attention with great joy. She is very people-oriented and longs for contact. Diana walks nicely on a leash, knows a few basic commands (e.g., "sit"), although sometimes her emotions and curiosity for the world win over concentration. She enthusiastically explores her surroundings, and when there are strange sounds, it can awaken her "annoyed terrier" side - she is alert, expressive and amusingly reacts (e.g., to a siren... barking along with it 😄). When it comes to other dogs, she can be yappy, but with a wagging tail - not aggressive, rather emotional. She may probably live with cats - she previously lived in a house where there were also cats. Interestingly, Diana seems to know public transportation - she got into the bus with great enthusiasm, even amusing the driver. Diana ended up in the animal shelter not because of her own fault - her previous caregiver was hospitalized and could no longer take care of her. She really needs to feel like someone's again. For Diana, we are looking for a home where the person has time and willingness for closeness, cuddling and shared moments, but also understands that a dog needs space and respect for boundaries; a caregiver who understands the emotional, sensitive dog. Diana is a terrier-type dog, so she needs movement and interesting, longer walks. We are looking for a quiet home for her, with consistent but warm guidance. We do not recommend her for a home with small children, a loud home where a lot happens and which often receives guests. If Diana were to go to a home where there is already another pet, an introduction with the resident will be required.

Diana to szorstkowłosa iskierka miłości – średniej wielkości suczka w typie teriera, która absolutnie skradnie Ci serce od pierwszego spotkania. Jest urocza, rozbrajająca i totalnie skupiona na człowieku. Jeśli szukasz psa, który kocha bliskość i kontakt, Diana będzie strzałem w dziesiątkę. To sunia, która sama wskakuje na kolana, obejmuje szyję dwiema łapkami i tuli się całą sobą, jakby chciała powiedzieć: „jesteś moim światem”. Uwielbia głaskanie i mizianie – sama przychodzi, nastawia się i chłonie uwagę z ogromną radością. Jest bardzo proludzka i spragniona kontaktu. Diana ładnie chodzi na smyczy, zna kilka podstawowych komend (np. „siad”), choć bywa, że emocje i ciekawość świata wygrywają z koncentracją. Z zainteresowaniem poznaje otoczenie, a przy dziwnych dźwiękach potrafi obudzić się w niej „wkurzony terier” – jest czujna, ekspresyjna i zabawnie reaguje (np. na syrenę… wyjąc razem z nią 😄). W stosunku do innych psów bywa szczekliwa, ale z merdającym ogonem – bez agresji, raczej z emocji. Prawdopodobnie może zamieszkać z kotami – wcześniej mieszkała w domu, gdzie były także koty. Co ciekawe, Diana chyba zna komunikację miejską – do autobusu pakowała się z wielkim entuzjazmem, rozbawiając tym nawet kierowcę. Diana trafiła do schroniska nie ze swojej winy – jej była opiekunka trafiła do szpitala i nie mogła się dłużej nią zajmować. Bardzo potrzebuje znów poczuć się czyjaś. Dla Diany szukamy domu, w którym człowiek ma czas i chęć na bliskość, przytulanie i wspólne chwile, ale też rozumie, że psiak potrzebuje przestrzeni i poszanowania granic; opiekuna, który rozumie emocjonalnego, wrażliwego psa. Diana to pies w typie teriera, więc potrzebuje ruchu i ciekawych, dłuższych spacerów. Szukamy dla niej spokojnego domu, z konsekwentnym, ale ciepłym prowadzeniem. Nie polecamy jej do domu z małymi dziećmi, do domu głośnego, w którym dużo się dzieje i który często przyjmuje się gości. Jeśli Diana miałaby trafić do domu, gdzie jest już inne zwierzę, wymagane będzie zapoznanie z rezydentem.
