Her story: With her large, dark eyes and a slightly cautious look, Eloise is right now between "I'm not quite ready yet" and "I actually want to." She lives currently with her sister Francesca and her mother in the shelter in Fântânele. She was born in a peripheral area of Cluj, where she was tolerated but not really wanted by her family. For the small puppies, this could have quickly become dangerous – fortunately, they were secured in time. Eloise is no puppy who immediately bolts off. She looks first, observes carefully, and needs a moment to get her bearings. At the same time, she allows herself to be touched and stroked and remains calm – so she is not closed off, but simply still in the process of taking everything in. She is compatible with other dogs and lives currently problem-free with her sister. Whether she knows cats, we cannot say at the moment. Visually, an element of herding dog could be in Eloise. If that turns out to be true, she will likely become attentive, independent, and vigilant later. Dogs with such an element observe a lot, make decisions sometimes, and need people who can give them orientation without overloading them. A quiet environment is therefore necessary. At the same time, they often form a close bond if given time. Eloise has not yet experienced life in a home. Everything is new to her, house training, leash, everyday life. Puberty is still to come. With patience, structure, and clear, calm guidance, she will develop and gradually become more secure. A visit to a positively working dog training class could be very helpful for her. Eloise is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated and brings her EU Companion Animal Passport. As she is still too young, she is not currently spayed. Ihre Geschichte: Mit ihren großen, dunklen Augen und dem noch etwas vorsichtigen Blick ist Eloise genau in diesem Moment zwischen „ich trau mich noch nicht ganz“ und „ich will aber eigentlich schon“. Sie lebt aktuell mit ihrer Schwester Francesca und ihrer Mutter im Shelter in Fântânele. Geboren wurde sie in einem Randgebiet von Cluj, wo sie mit ihrer Familie zwar geduldet, aber nicht wirklich gewollt war. Für die kleinen Welpen hätte das schnell gefährlich werden können – zum Glück wurden sie rechtzeitig gesichert. Eloise ist kein Welpe, der sofort losstürmt. Sie schaut erst, beobachtet genau und braucht einen Moment, um sich zurechtzufinden. Gleichzeitig lässt sie sich anfassen und streicheln und bleibt dabei ruhig – sie ist also nicht verschlossen, sondern einfach noch dabei, alles einzuordnen. Mit anderen Hunden ist sie verträglich und lebt aktuell problemlos mit ihrer Schwester zusammen. Ob sie Katzen kennt, können wir derzeit noch nicht sagen. Optisch könnte in Eloise ein Anteil Herdenschutzhund stecken. Sollte sich das bestätigen, wird sie später vermutlich aufmerksam, eigenständig und wachsam sein. Hunde mit solchen Anteilen beobachten viel, entscheiden auch mal selbst und brauchen Menschen, die ihnen Orientierung geben, ohne sie zu überfordern. Ein ruhiges Umfeld ist daher nötig. Gleichzeitig bauen sie oft eine enge Bindung auf, wenn man ihnen Zeit lässt. Eloise kennt das Leben in einem Zuhause noch nicht. Alles ist neu für sie, Stubenreinheit, Leine, Alltag. Auch die Pubertät kommt noch. Mit Geduld, Struktur und klarer, ruhiger Führung wird sie sich entwickeln und Schritt für Schritt sicherer werden. Der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule kann sie dabei gut unterstützen. Eloise ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht und bringt ihren EU Heimtierausweis mit. Da sie noch zu jung ist, ist sie derzeit nicht kastriert. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro kann sie in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
