Elsie is looking for a patient home that can continue her basic training and confidence building, especially around new experiences like travel and busy surroundings. She will benefit from a calm, structured routine and gradually building up time left alone. If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion and are happy to support a slightly nervous dog as she grows in confidence, Elsie could make a wonderful addition to your home. Meet Elsie, She is a sweet and affectionate Old English Sheepdog who is still building her confidence in the world. She can be a little nervous at first, but quickly warms up and becomes very cuddly, often seeking out fuss and attention from people. Elsie is a real social butterfly once comfortable and enjoys meeting new people, though she may initially bark if unsure. She is friendly with other dogs and will need to live with her sister Bonnie. She can be a little overwhelmed by busy environments such as high traffic areas. She can also get overexcited and jump up, so would suit a home with secondary school aged children
