Today we introduce Fox, an eleven-year-old German Shepherd, beautiful, docile and affectionate. No one who sees him for the first time has failed to say, "What a beautiful dog!" He has a beautiful and imposing appearance, but the imposing part is just that - appearance. In terms of character, he would compete in docility with a sheep. Any order given to him ("Get out of the kennel", "Come with me", "Enter", "Stay") is fulfilled instantly. He even waits to leave the kennel to go to the bathroom outside and not dirty his house. He is sure to address other dogs as "you". And as for affectionate, Fox has a master's degree in becoming an ice cream that melts at the first sign of affection. As soon as he sees a person, he approaches looking for contact, and with a few pets under his ears, his mass of over forty kilos slides smoothly and lies belly up, with his legs open, encouraging the human to fill his belly with caresses. If happiness has a face, it is the one Fox puts on at that moment. Because of his kindness and education, he can live with any type of family and situation: young, old, adults with children, in an apartment, in a farm... Whoever adopts him will take home the first prize in terms of dogs, but, yes, he must be aware that Fox is close to twelve years old, and although his health is excellent and he can still give tons of affection (and he will), the task of his owner or owners must be to pamper and care for him a lot so that this good and noble dog is surrounded by love when he closes his touching eyes for the last time.

Tiene una estampa hermosa e imponente, pero lo de imponente se queda en el aspecto, porque en cuanto a carácter, competiría en docilidad con una oveja. Cualquier orden que se le dé (“Sal del chenil”, “Ven conmigo”, “Entra”, “Quédate”) la cumple al instante. Hasta espera a salir del chenil para hacer sus necesidades fuera y no ensuciar su casa. Seguro que cuando habla con otros perros los trata de usted. Y en cuanto a cariñoso, Fox tiene un máster en convertirse en un helado que se derrite a la primera muestra de afecto. En cuanto ve a una persona se acerca buscando el roce, y a poco que se le den unos mimos debajo de las orejas, su masa de más de cuarenta kilos se desliza suavemente y se queda panza arriba, con las patazas abiertas, animando al humano a llenar de caricias su barriga. Si la felicidad tiene cara, es la que pone Fox en ese momento. Por su bondad y educación, puede vivir con cualquier tipo de familia y situación: jóvenes, ancianos, adultos con niños, en piso, en finca… Quien lo adopte se llevará el primer premio en materia de perros, pero, eso sí, debe ser consciente de que Fox está cercano a los doce años, y aunque su salud es excelente y todavía puede dar toneladas de cariño (y las dará), la tarea de su dueño o dueños ha de ser mimarlo y cuidarlo mucho para que este perro tan bueno y noble esté rodeado de amor cuando cierre sus conmovedores ojos por última vez.
