HADES arrived at our shelter from Wodna Street. HADES lives in a world of darkness—literally. He is older and completely blind. Although his heart still beats strongly, as if still waiting for something good… there is something in his posture that breaks the heart. As if he knew that no one would want him, that he had no chance of adoption. Who would want an old, blind dog? HADES doesn’t push himself. He is controlled, quiet, and very cautious. He moves slowly, with a sense of purpose, as if every step is important. In his world, there are no colors, only sounds, smells, and touch. And what he needs most is a safe space, stability, and a routine that will give him at least a little bit of certainty.

Hades trafił do schroniska z ul. Wodnej. Hades żyje w świecie ciemności — dosłownie. Jest starszy i całkowicie ślepy. I choć serce nadal bije mu mocno, jakby wciąż czekał na coś dobrego… to w jego postawie jest coś, co łamie serce. Jakby wiedział, że nikt go nie zechce, że nie ma szans na adopcję. Bo kto by chciał starego, ślepego psa? Hades nie narzuca się. Jest opanowany, cichy, bardzo ostrożny. Porusza się powoli, z wyczuciem, jakby każdy krok był ważny. Bo w jego świecie nie ma kolorów, tylko dźwięki, zapachy i dotyk. A to, czego potrzebuje najbardziej, to bezpieczna przestrzeń, stabilizacja i rutyna, która da mu choć odrobinę pewności.
