Hector is al bij de reddingsdienst voor bijna 4 jaar ... Hij is een van de 'onzichtbare' honden. Toen hij aankwam was hij een beetje mispand, maar hij is een heel goede hond, onderdanig tegenover zowel mannen als vrouwen en zeer goed met mensen. Sinds hij een kooi deelt met Cathelyn lijkt hij als een andere hond, veel zelfverzekerder en speels, zij maakt hem zich veiliger.
