In 2007, Honey was saved from being slaughtered for human consumption in France. Aged only one year old, she was saved just in time by a charity (which has since disbanded) and brought to Scotland to live a life of safety.Honey has confirmation issues along with some other ailments which have made her entirely unsuitable for ridden work but she is perfectly sound at pasture. +She has been at Willows for a while now and despite all she's been through, she absolutely loves people and is very social indeed. She is always ready for a pat and is very keen on carrots!
