Hunter is worried by over-excitable dogs, so if he is to live with another dog, they would need to be calm and independent,(neutered if female) with careful introductions to make sure they are a good match. Hunter cannot live with cats or small furries. He can live with secondary-aged children who are able to understand and respect his boundaries and give him space when needed. Hunter will thrive with a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and can help him continue to build his confidence at his own pace. If you are looking for a loving, playful companion who will happily join you on adventures and long walks, while also understanding that he needs patience, space and support when things feel overwhelming, Hunter could be the boy for you. Hunter is a sweet, playful and energetic boy who is 2 years and 8 months old. He loves being with his people, enjoys his toys and really looks forward to his long walks. He walks well on the lead and would suit an active family who can provide him with plenty of exercise, enrichment and companionship. Hunter can be excitable when meeting new people and will need a family who understands that he may need time and space to settle. Hunter cannot be left alone initially, as he finds being separated from his people difficult, so his new family will need to gradually build up his time alone as he settles in. Any outdoor space must be secure. Hunter can jump fences.
