🐾 Kennenlernen Jack, een zachtaardige kleine ziel op zoek naar een geduldig eeuwig huis 🤎 Aantrekkelijke Jack is nu klaar om het volgende hoofdstuk van zijn leven te beginnen. Jack kwam bij ons in de zorg met zijn moeder Luna en oma Paris uit een huis waar veel katten waren en helaas waren er verschillende erg onwel. Ondanks zo'n moeilijke start heeft deze lieve jongen langzaam zijn zachte persoonlijkheid laten zien. Jack is nog steeds een beetje schuw op het eerste gezicht. Nieuwe mensen en nieuwe plekken kunnen hem initieel doen verdwijnen terwijl hij alles doorgrondt. Maar als hij zich veilig voelt, verschijnt zijn echte karakter. Roep zijn naam en hij komt naar je toe... vooral als er Dreamies zijn, wat hij absoluut liefheeft! Jack is een zachtaardige jongen die een rustige, begrijpende thuis nodig heeft waar hij zijn zelfvertrouwen op zijn eigen tempo verder kan opbouwen. Met geduld en vriendelijkheid weten we dat hij zal bloeien tot een geweldige maatje. Hij is ook een beetje camera-onvriendelijk, waardoor hij misschien een beetje serieus lijkt op foto's, maar in werkelijkheid is hij een heel lief jongen. Voorwaarden voor het thuis: 🏡 Rustig, stil huis 🚫 Niet geschikt voor huizen met jonge kinderen of honden 🐱 Kan mogelijk samenwonen met een andere rustige kat bij een geleidelijke kennismaking. Jack heeft iemand nodig die de lieve kleine ziel achter het schuwe uiterlijk kan zien, iemand bereid om hem de tijd, geduld en liefde te geven die hij verdient. 🐾 Jack urgently needs somewhere to call home 🤎 Right now, Jack is spending most of his days alone. His foster carer has been admitted to hospital and is expected to remain there long term, which means his current placement can no longer give him the companionship and stability he needs. Our volunteers are doing everything they possibly can. During the week, someone visits briefly each morning to give Jack fresh food and water, along with a few cuddles. Volunteers then return in the evening and spend a couple of hours keeping him company. At weekends, he receives two visits each day. His food bowl is filled. His water is changed. He is safe. But he is still waiting alone for most of the day. Every time the door opens, Jack gets the company he has been missing. He can play, have a cuddle, watch television and enjoy his favourite cat games on a tablet. Then the visit ends, the door closes again and he is left on his own. For a cat who becomes bored easily and thrives on attention, this is incredibly difficult. He does not understand why his home has suddenly become so quiet or why the person he knew is no longer there. Jack urgently needs a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can feel part of everyday life again. He can be shy around new people and may need time to understand that he is safe. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, playful and full of personality. He loves cuddles, toys, television and simply having someone nearby. Jack is generally well in himself, but he has experienced intermittent gastrointestinal problems. He is on a strict hypoallergenic diet, which has significantly improved his symptoms and must continue. He has also tested positive for feline coronavirus. This cannot be passed to humans, but it means he must be the only animal in the home until he receives a negative test result. This can take between two and ten months, and Jack is expected to be retested in approximately eight months. Because Jack can give playful little nibbles when he becomes bored or overexcited, he cannot live with young children. Jack needs: 🏡 A long-term foster or foster-to-adopt placement 🏠 An indoor-only home 🚫 No other animals 👶 No young children ⏰ Someone who is home regularly and can give him plenty of company 🥣 Someone able to continue his strict hypoallergenic diet 🤎 A patient person who will allow him to settle at his own pace We are desperate to find Jack a home. Our volunteers will continue visiting and caring for him, but brief visits cannot replace having someone there, hearing familiar voices around the house or curling up near a person at the end of the day. Jack does not need a perfect home. He needs someone who can offer him time, patience and a place where he will not have to spend so many hours waiting alone.
