Here is the sweet Jade, a 5-year-old unspayed female American Staffordshire Terrier who is on her second stay with us. Jade is very affectionate and tends to jump up to ask for cuddles. She’s well-balanced but doesn’t get along with other dogs—and this will be an area we’ll need to work on with her to help her thrive in a calm and harmonious way. She settles down nicely in her kennel, and she’s welcoming and sociable with visitors. Jade needs plenty of space; having previously lived in an apartment, she hasn’t yet adjusted to that environment, and she requires regular walks and plenty of interaction. Jade has a heart murmur, so her health will need close monitoring.

Voici la gentille Jade, une American staff femelle de 5 ans non stérilisée qui en est à son second séjour chez nous. Jade est très câline et a tendance à sauter pour demander des câlins. Elle est équilibrée mais ne s’entend pas avec les autres chiens, et ceci sera un point à travailler avec elle pour l’aider à s’épanouir sereinement. Elle se tient bien en niche, elle est accueillante et sociable avec les visiteurs. Jade a besoin d’espace, elle qui vivait en appartement ne s’y est pas habituée, et elle a besoin de promenades régulières et d’interactions. Jade a un souffle au cœur, donc il faudra veiller à sa santé.
