Kazik remembers the days when the grass was greener and people were just a stretch of the paw away. He arrived at the animal shelter after the death of his caregiver and has since been our oldest resident. This is a dog who has seen his share of life, who has experienced it all... but now he just doesn’t see or hear, but he can feel like no other. Sometimes, due to his lack of sight and hearing, he can be unsure. When you unexpectedly touch him, he might startle with a snap of his teeth – not to harm anyone, but to say, "Hello, young person, who are you sneaking up on me?" However, all it takes is a moment, a calm approach, and a sense of your presence, and Kazik melts like ice in July. When he understands that you are on his side, he relaxes, moves closer, and allows himself to be petted with full trust. This is a truly endearing old man – a bit grumpy, a bit awkward, but absolutely heartwarming. We are looking for a home for him, a peaceful and safe haven where he will not be expected to run marathons, but to share a peaceful rest. Someone who understands that seniors have their own rules, rituals, and small habits, but in return, they give unconditional devotion. Kazik deserves to spend his last years not in the animal shelter, but by the side of a person who will love him, need him, and simply have him by their side. Kazik pamięta czasy, kiedy trawa była zieleńsza, a człowiek był na wyciągnięcie łapy. Do schroniska trafił po śmierci swojego opiekuna i od tamtej pory jest naszym najstarszym rezydentem. To pies, który swoje już przeżył, swoje widział... a teraz już akurat nie widzi i nie słyszy, ale za to czuje jak nikt inny. Przez brak wzroku i słuchu czasem bywa niepewny. Gdy niespodziewanie go dotkniesz, zdarza mu się postraszyć kłapnięciem zębów - nie żeby chciał zrobić komuś krzywdę, tylko żeby powiedzieć: "Halo, młoda osobo, kto tu się do mnie zakrada?". Wystarczy jednak dać mu chwilę, podejść spokojnie, dać poczuć Twoją obecność i... Kazik topnieje jak lód w lipcu. Kiedy zrozumie, że jesteś po jego stronie, rozluźnia się, przysuwa i pozwala się głaskać z pełnym zaufaniem. To naprawdę uroczy staruszek - trochę zrzędliwy, trochę nieporadny, ale absolutnie rozczulający. Szukamy dla niego domu, który otworzy przed nim spokojną, bezpieczną przystań. Takiego, który nie szuka psa do maratonów, tylko do wspólnego odpoczynku. Kogoś, kto zrozumie, że seniorzy mają swoje zasady, rytuały i drobne przyzwyczajenia, ale w zamian oddają bezwarunkowe przywiązanie. Kazik zasługuje, by swoje ostatnie lata spędzić nie w schronisku, lecz u boku człowieka, przy którym będzie czuł się kochany, potrzebny i po prostu u siebie. Jeśli masz w sercu miejsce dla psiego dziadka, który pragnie już tylko spokoju i czułej obecności - Kazik czeka właśnie na Ciebie.
