Lucien (male), Laura (female) and Lacey (female) had a difficult start to life after being found as stray kittens at around six weeks old, all struggling with cat flu. Thanks to the care they have received, they have come on in leaps and bounds and are now ready to start looking for their forever homes. As you may notice, Lacey still has some ongoing effects from her illness. The inflammation caused by the infection has resulted in one of her eyelids rolling inwards, which can irritate her eye. She is currently receiving medication, and she may require corrective surgery in the future. If this is needed, the procedure will be covered by Thornberry, so her new family can adopt her with confidence. Because they spent the beginning of their lives outdoors, Lucien, Laura and Lacey will need homes where they will have access to the outdoors once they are old enough, neutered and fully settled into their new environment. Their early experiences have left them a little more cautious than some kittens, so they can be nervous when meeting new people. However, with patience, kindness and time to settle, they should grow in confidence and adapt well to homes with calm, respectful children and gentle pets following careful introductions. They can be adopted individually, in pairs or all together, and each one is hoping to find a loving family who will give them the happy future they deserve.
