Location: Romania—Mario, his siblings, and their mother Bety… no longer wanted by the owner. That’s how Mario, just a few weeks old, came to our animal protector. Mario lives in a small pack and is also familiar with cats. At the shelter, he shows himself to be a friendly, open-minded young dog. But now it’s slowly time for Mario to experience life in a home as well. The assessments of the dogs refer to their current, familiar environment—meaning they’re evaluated in their usual surroundings, with familiar caregivers and within their existing pack. We cannot, or can only to a limited extent, predict how a dog will behave in the future, especially after moving to a new home. Each animal is an individual; it will change and continue to develop. For inquiries, information, and much more, simply send us an email at: Our dogs travel vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and equipped with an EU pet passport. From the age of 8 months onward, a rapid test for the four most regionally significant parasitic diseases is performed; generally, dogs are neutered from the age of 10 months onward.
