Lately, Mawassi has changed. A tiny bit. A shiver, a longer, more curious gaze. He observes us, as if trying to understand who we are and if he can perhaps trust us. If he is offered for adoption, it's to give him a real chance. But let's be honest, everything is to be built. Socialization, trust, the bond—this will require experience, time, infinite patience, and a solid love. He will need a calm environment, a perfectly secured outdoor space because when you're afraid, you might want to run away. Even today, he doesn't accept physical contact. Collar? Harness? Not yet. Not yet, and the shelter, with its noise and commotion, doesn't help him progress as quickly as he could. Mawassi is sociable with his other animals of the same species, okay cats, and the presence of a well-adjusted dog could be his best life teacher.

Ces derniers temps, Mawassi a changé. Un tout petit peu. Un frémissement, un regard plus long, plus curieux. Il nous observe, comme s’il essayait de comprendre qui nous sommes et s’il peut, peut-être, nous faire confiance. S’il est proposé à l’adoption, c’est pour lui offrir une vraie chance. Mais il faut être honnête, tout est à construire. La socialisation, la confiance, le lien, cela demandera de l’expérience, du temps, une patience infinie et un amour solide. Il lui faudra un environnement calme, un extérieur parfaitement sécurisé car quand on a peur, on peut vouloir fuir. Aujourd’hui encore, il n’accepte pas le contact physique. Collier ? Harnais ? On n’y est pas. Pas encore et le refuge, avec son bruit et son agitation, ne l’aide pas à avancer aussi vite qu’il le pourrait. Mawassi est sociable avec ses congénères, ok chats et la présence d’un chien bien dans ses pattes pourrait être son plus beau professeur de vie. Un guide rassurant, un modèle apaisant
