Miadiva was rehomed to Bahren on 06.11.16. We wish her lots of luck in continuing the brushing training! ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. I am female, spayed and born in April 2012. I have been looking for a new home since April 2016. This is what my caretakers say about me: Mia is a small, delicate cat and weighs 3.5 kg. When I picked up Mia, she was just 8 weeks old and thus actually too young to be given away. I failed to get her used to brushing, which makes grooming difficult. Mia is a good hunter and definitely needs outdoor access, she loves climbing trees. She reacts absolutely friendly to "her" people, she is always at home or comes running when I drive onto the parking lot and walks around the house with me to be let in. She needs more time with her people than I can give her at the moment. She is cuddly and allows herself to be picked up and petted - of course only when she wants to - often she comes by herself and asks for her cuddles. When it comes to brushing, she can become very fussy and unfortunately also bite and scratch. I helped myself by having the matts removed regularly at the vet, which worked quite well. I could imagine that a person who is experienced with cats and has the necessary time and will could get Mia used to brushing. Mia is regularly vaccinated, most recently in January 2016. I would like for Mia to have one or two loving people who can offer her secure outdoor access and have time to take care of her. Due to changes in my living situation, I can no longer offer Mia outdoor access in the future. Therefore, I am looking for a new home for her, preferably without a stay at the animal shelter.

Ich bin weiblich, kastriert und im April 2012 geboren. Ich suche seit April 2016 ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Mia ist eine kleine zierliche Katze und wiegt 3,5 kg. Als ich Mia nach Hause geholt habe war sie gerade 8 Wochen alt und damit eigentlich viel zu jung für die Abgabe. Ich habe versäumt sie ans Kämmen zu gewöhnen, weshalb die Fellpflege schwierig ist. Mia ist eine gute Jägerin und braucht unbedingt Freigang, sie liebt es auf Bäume zu klettern. Auf „ihre“ Menschen reagiert sie absolut freundlich, sie ist immer zu Hause oder kommt angerannt wenn ich mit dem Auto auf den Parkplatz fahre und läuft mit mir ums Haus um reingelassen zu werden. Sie braucht sicher mehr Zeit mit Ihren Menschen als ich es ihr im Moment geben kann. Sie ist verschmust und lässt sich hochnehmen und streicheln – natürlich nur wenn sie es will – oft kommt sie von ganz alleine und fordert ihre Streicheleinheiten ein. Beim Kämmen kann sie furchtbar kratzbürstig werden und leider auch beißen und kratzen. Ich habe mich damit beholfen, dass ich regelmäßig beim Tierarzt die Verfilzungen habe entfernen lassen, das hat ganz gut geklappt. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass ein Mensch der Katzenerfahren ist und die nötige Zeit und den Willen hat Mia auch ans Kämmen gewöhnen könnte. Mia ist regelmäßig geimpft, zuletzt im Januar 2016. Ich wünsche mir für Mia einen oder zwei liebe Menschen, die ihr sicheren Freigang bieten können und Zeit haben sich um sie zu kümmern. Durch Veränderung meiner Lebensumstände kann ich Mia zukünfig keinen Freigang mehr bieten.Deswegen suche ich ein neues Zuhause für sie, möglichst ohne Tierheimaufenthalt.
