Her impulse control is noteworthy as well: during eating and leaving the apartment, she reliably waits for the go-ahead. She masters driving without problems and can independently jump into the trunk. As a typical German Shepherd, Mila brings a lot of work enthusiasm with her and requires both physical exertion and mental stimulation to be balanced. Her biggest challenge at the moment is her reactive behavior to environmental stimuli. She reacts strongly to other dogs, even from a distance. She pulls strongly on the leash and barks at them. In these moments, she is not approachable. Sometimes she also shows this behavior towards people, small children, and trains. Therefore, Mila is looking for a quiet, rural home, ideally with a large property or farm. Experienced, confident people are sought who are willing to work consistently and patiently with her and give her security. In der Wohnung kommt sie schnell zur Ruhe und kann bereits bis zu zwei Stunden entspannt alleine bleiben. Grundkommandos wie Sitz, Platz und Schau beherrscht sie. Auch ihre Impulskontrolle ist bemerkenswert: Beim Fressen und beim Verlassen der Wohnung wartet sie zuverlässig auf die Freigabe. Autofahren meistert sie problemlos und springt selbstständig in den Kofferraum. Als typischer Schäferhund bringt Mila viel Arbeitsfreude mit und benötigt sowohl körperliche Auslastung als auch geistige Beschäftigung, um ausgeglichen zu sein. Ihre größte Baustelle ist aktuell ihr reaktives Verhalten auf Umweltreize. Besonders auf andere Hunde reagiert Mila stark, selbst aus großer Entfernung. Sie geht dabei stark in die Leine und verbellt diese. In diesen Momenten ist sie nicht ansprechbar. Teilweise zeigt sie dieses Verhalten auch gegenüber Menschen, Kleinkindern und Zügen. Daher sucht Mila ein ruhiges, ländliches Zuhause, idealerweise mit großem Grundstück oder Hof. Gesucht werden erfahrene, souveräne Menschen, die bereit sind, konsequent und geduldig mit ihr zu arbeiten und ihr Sicherheit zu geben.
