There are dogs waiting... and then there is Monaldo, who waits with a sweetness that breaks the heart. He is a young small dog, born in September 2023, medium-small in size (13 kg), who experienced abandonment too soon. Since he was about a year old, he has lived without a real home, without someone who would call him "family". Yet, despite everything, Monaldo has kept a bright soul. He is good, very good. Those who approach with confidence, who seek caresses without fear, who look at you as if they wanted to tell you: "I'm here, you can count on me". He is sociable, affectionate, curious about the world. He gets along with everyone: other dogs, males and females, even cats. He knows how to walk on a leash and loves spending time with people. He is the kind of dog that adapts, that accompanies, that fills the days with a kind and sincere presence. From a health perspective: he has a questionable title for leishmaniasis, but has not developed any pathology; he has a flea allergy, so proper antiparasitic prevention is needed; he has a slight limp due to a posterior patellar dislocation, which currently does not require surgery and probably will not require it in the future. Nothing that takes away from what is truly important: Monaldo is ready to love. He is not "just a dog looking for a home". He is a life companion waiting for someone to share everything with: walks, silences, daily small joys. If you are looking for a faithful, kind, and sincere friend... Monaldo might be exactly what your life is missing. Give him the opportunity he has never had. Give him a home.

Ci sono cani che aspettano… e poi c’è Monaldo, che aspetta con una dolcezza che spezza il cuore. È un cagnolino giovane, nato a settembre 2023, di taglia medio-piccola (13 kg), che ha conosciuto troppo presto l’abbandono. Da quando aveva circa un anno vive senza una vera casa, senza qualcuno che lo chiami “famiglia”. Eppure, nonostante tutto, Monaldo ha conservato un’anima luminosa. È buono, profondamente buono. Di quelli che si avvicinano con fiducia, che cercano carezze senza paura, che ti guardano come se volesse dirti: “Io ci sono, puoi contare su di me”. È socievole, affettuoso, curioso del mondo. Va d’accordo con tutti: altri cani, maschi e femmine, e persino i gatti. Sa andare al guinzaglio e ama condividere il tempo con le persone. È il tipo di cane che si adatta, che accompagna, che riempie le giornate con una presenza gentile e sincera. Dal punto di vista sanitario: ha un titolo dubbio per leishmania, ma non ha sviluppato alcuna patologia; ha un’allergia alle pulci, quindi va mantenuta una corretta profilassi antiparassitaria; presenta una lieve zoppia dovuta a una lussazione della rotula posteriore, che al momento non richiede interventi e probabilmente non ne richiederà in futuro. Nulla che tolga valore a ciò che è davvero importante: Monaldo è pronto ad amare. Non è “solo un cane in cerca di casa”. È un compagno di vita che aspetta qualcuno con cui condividere tutto: le passeggiate, i silenzi, le piccole gioie quotidiane. Se stai cercando un amico fedele, dolce e sincero… Monaldo potrebbe essere proprio quello che manca alla tua vita. Diamogli la possibilità che non ha mai avuto. Diamogli una casa.
