With his delicate weight of around 7 kg, this little treasure is currently still a lightweight, but his presence is already huge. Moritz is a true one-of-a-kind: His black, fluffy fur is adorned with a sweet white milk mustache, which gives him a very droll expression. He always looks wonderfully tousled and whoever looks at him falls immediately under his gaze: He looks a little dreamy and profound into the camera as if he were philosophizing about his great happiness in the new home. It's not out of the question that a few hounds are in his family tree. Moritz is not only handsome but also super friendly, open, curious, and immediately there when you enter the exercise pen. He simply loves being close to people! Found together with his siblings in the forest – frostbitten, hungry, and desperate. But those days are thankfully over! Now, Moritz, who will likely grow into a medium to large handsome fellow, is searching for his very own happy ending. He gets along well with other dogs, but we're still unsure about cats. As a puppy, Moritz is like a sponge: He wants to learn, explore, and especially snuggle! The puppy stage requires patience, lots of positive reinforcement, and especially a playful introduction to life in a family. House training, gradual independence, basic commands – all of this needs to be learned. And when you think the essentials are done – zack, comes the famous puberty! The hound genes could mean he becomes headstrong and busy. He will test his limits and suddenly the "ears on full alert" phase is there. This is completely normal! Then, consistency, love, patience, and humor are key. Clear rules, an engaging anti-boredom program with thinking games or nose work, and plenty of quiet zones are the key. Moritz needs a reliable hand to guide him through this wild time and channel his energy into positive directions. A visit to dog training classes could also be helpful now. Moritz travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with his EU pet passport to his family. After a positive adoption, he would also be happy to go to a foster home. His pretty name is due to Claudia B. The nametag is not only Moritz's chance to be seen by the world but also a birthday gift. Status: 18.12.

Seine Geschichte: Hier kommt Moritz! Mit seinen zarten ca. 7 kg ist dieser kleine Schatz aktuell noch ein Leichtgewicht, aber seine Ausstrahlung ist schon jetzt riesig. Moritz ist ein echtes Unikat: Sein schwarzes, flauschiges Fell wird von einem zuckersüßen weißen Milchbärtchen geziert, das ihm ein ganz besonders drolliges Gesicht verleiht. Er sieht immer herrlich verstrubbelt aus und wer ihn ansieht verfällt sofort seinem Blick: Er schaut immer ein wenig verträumt und tiefgründig in die Kamera, als würde er gerade von seinem großen Glück im neuen Zuhause philosophieren. Es ist nicht auszuschließen, dass in seiner Ahnengalerie ein paar Hütehunde mitgemischt haben. Moritz ist nicht nur bildhübsch, sondern auch super freundlich, offen, neugierig und sofort da, wenn man den Zwinger betritt. Er liebt es einfach, nah bei den Menschen zu sein! Zusammen mit seinen Geschwistern wurde dieser tapfere kleine Kerl im Wald gefunden – durchgefroren, hungrig und verzweifelt. Aber diese Zeiten sind zum Glück vorbei! Jetzt sucht Moritz, der vermutlich mal ein mittelgroßer bis großer Prachtkerl wird, sein ganz persönliches Happy End. Mit anderen Hunden ist er bestens verträglich, ob das auch für Katzen gilt, wissen wir noch nicht. Als Welpe ist Moritz wie ein Schwamm: Er will lernen, entdecken und vor allem Kuscheln! Die Welpenzeit braucht Geduld, viel positive Verstärkung und vor allem ein spielerisches Heranführen an das Leben in einer Familie. Stubenreinheit, schrittweises Alleine bleiben, Grundkommandos – all das will gelernt werden. Und wenn man gerade denkt, das Wesentliche sei geschafft – zack, kommt die berühmte Pubertät! Die Hütehund-Gene könnten bedeuten, dass er köpfchen- und beschäftigungsorientiert wird. Er wird seine Grenzen testen und plötzlich ist die „Ohren auf Durchzug“-Phase da. Das ist ganz normal! Wichtig sind dann Konsequenz, Liebe, Geduld und Humor. Klare Regeln, ein spannendes Anti-Langeweile-Programm mit Denkspielen oder Nasenarbeit sowie ausreichend Ruhezonen sind der Schlüssel. Moritz braucht eine verlässliche Hand, die ihn sicher durch diese wilde Zeit führt und seine Energie in positive Bahnen lenkt. Spätestens jetzt könnte auch der Besuch einer Hundeschule hilfreich sein. Moritz reist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit seinem EU-Heimtierausweis in seine Familie. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle kann er gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt werden. Aber auch über eine Pflegestelle würde er sich sicher freuen.
