Muskules (black) is a friendly and open young puppy who has been growing up in a loving foster home since birth. He lives there with other dogs, cats, and even chickens. When meeting strangers, he is curious and open – sometimes a bit too exuberant, but overall more calm than his brother Pumba. In everyday life, Muskules shows a pleasant, calm nature. During walks, he presents himself as a nice companion, and driving has become increasingly relaxed for him. In the past, occasional diarrhea occurred after longer car rides, which should still be taken into consideration. Muskules was early on orthopedically examined and has received a preventive pre-surgical operation to support his long-term joint health. Such a measure is particularly useful for large-breed dogs, as they often develop joint problems with age. Another orthopedic check-up is already planned to continue closely monitoring his development and to optimally assess the healing process. Like all puppies from this foster home, Muskules has been comprehensively medically cared for. This includes regular veterinary check-ups, X-rays, and an HD early detection examination (PennHIP & Ortolani test). Muskules is a young puppy who still has a lot to learn. He shows friendliness towards other animals but, like many large young puppies, can sometimes show age-related insecurities in certain situations. A calm and confident second dog could provide additional orientation, but it is not a prerequisite. He has only known a life in a rural environment with a garden. Therefore, a quiet home in the countryside would suit him much better than an urban environment. Muskules wishes for patient people with a sense of humor and understanding for large young puppies who can offer clear structures and a loving, animal-friendly training. He also needs time to build a close bond and learn the routines of daily life – including being alone. A quiet home without small children would be particularly beneficial to him. ☎ 02162/ 65 426 ✉ Muskules (schwarz) ist ein freundlicher und offener Junghund, der seit seiner Geburt in einer liebevollen Pflegestelle aufwächst. Dort lebt er gemeinsam mit anderen Hunden, Katzen und sogar Hühnern. Fremden Menschen begegnet er neugierig und aufgeschlossen – manchmal noch etwas überschwänglich, insgesamt jedoch ruhiger als sein Bruder Pumba. Im Alltag zeigt Muskules ein angenehm ruhiges Wesen. Bei Spaziergängen präsentiert er sich als netter Begleiter, und auch das Autofahren wird für ihn zunehmend entspannter. Nach längeren Fahrten kam es in der Vergangenheit gelegentlich zu Durchfall, was weiterhin berücksichtigt werden sollte. Muskules wurde frühzeitig orthopädisch untersucht und hat eine präventive Vorsorgeoperation erhalten, die seine langfristige Gelenkgesundheit unterstützen soll. Gerade bei großwüchsigen Hunden ist diese Maßnahme besonders sinnvoll, da sie im Alter häufiger zu Gelenksproblemen neigen. Eine weitere orthopädische Kontrolle ist bereits geplant, um seine Entwicklung weiterhin eng zu begleiten und den Heilungsverlauf optimal beurteilen zu können. Wie alle Welpen aus dieser Pflegestelle wurde auch Muskules umfassend medizinisch versorgt. Dazu gehören regelmäßige tierärztliche Kontrollen, Röntgenuntersuchungen sowie eine HD-Frühuntersuchung (PennHIP & Ortolani-Test). Muskules ist ein junger Hund, der noch viel lernen möchte. Mit Artgenossen zeigt er sich freundlich, bringt jedoch – wie viele große Junghunde – in manchen Situationen noch altersbedingte Unsicherheiten mit. Ein ruhiger und souveräner Zweithund könnte ihm zusätzliche Orientierung geben, ist aber keine Voraussetzung. Er kennt bisher vor allem ein Leben in ländlicher Umgebung mit Garten. Daher passt ein ruhiges Zuhause am Land deutlich besser zu ihm als ein städtisches Umfeld. Muskules wünscht sich geduldige Menschen mit Humor und Verständnis für große Junghunde, die ihm klare Strukturen und ein liebevolles, tierschutzkonformes Training bieten. Ebenso braucht er Zeit, um eine enge Bindung aufzubauen und die Abläufe des Alltags zu lernen – auch das Alleinbleiben gehört noch dazu. Ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne kleine Kinder würde ihm dabei besonders entgegenkommen. Muskules ist ein sanfter, lernfreudiger und äußerst liebenswerter Junghund, der sich eng an seine Bezugspersonen bindet.
