Mya (fem., born ca. July 2019) - not quite springy anymore, but still in her prime...and very sweet! October 23, 2024. Our initially rather unassuming Mya impresses with her gentleness. Whose heart does she not touch? Mya was captured in a village near Schumen in September 2024 and came to the animal shelter in Schumen for castration. She captured the hearts of those of us who were on-site at the time, as well as the hearts of the staff. The decision was unanimous. Since she was so trusting and also trusting from the start, Mya now gets the chance at the best home "for ever." The dangerous and arduous life of a stray has thus (for now) come to an end. The constant "mothering" has also come to an end. Mya is a very open and people-oriented female dog. She doesn't seem to have had any bad experiences with two-legged beings. On her first walk on a leash, which she had never known before, she oriented herself strongly towards Udo and let him pet her. We had the impression that she enjoyed the affectionate attention. She sought his proximity and wanted to be petted. And - here explicitly mentioned again - by a man. Mya, we can't say it any other way, is a really sweet female dog. She has a pleasant and calm nature. She will make a family happy, and the family that adopts her will return a thousandfold happiness to Mya. Is there anything more beautiful than finally providing a safe home for this modest female dog, where she will be loved for the first time in her life? All of this sounds a bit dramatic, it's not usually the way we present our dogs, but Mya touches the heart of the author of this "profile" and so we apologize for the tear-jerking description. :-). It's hard to gauge her age. According to our vet at the animal shelter Schumen, she was born around July 2019; she could also be a little older. She could be anywhere from 6 to 7 years old, but she still doesn't qualify as a senior. Mya's teeth are quite worn down, and she has a large overbite. Throughout her life, she has probably cared for puppies twice a year. That is now history. Mya's height was easy to measure. She has a pleasant shoulder height of about 45 cm. She is very compatible with other dogs. In the first group we integrated her into, she was bullied. As a result, we placed her in a smaller run, where she now finds more peace. We hope and wish for Mya that she will be discovered and depart soon. Mya is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and thus meets all the criteria to leave her homeland, where she is unwanted. Mya (weibl., geb. ca. Juli 2019) - nicht mehr ganz taufrisch, aber trotzdem noch im allerbesten Alter...und ganz lieb! 23. Oktober 2024 Unsere auf den ersten Blick eher unscheinbare Mya besticht durch ihren Sanftmut. Wessen Herz rührt sie nicht? Mya wurde im September 2024 in einem Dorf in der Nähe von Schumen eingefangen und kam zur Kastration ins Tierheim in Schumen. Sie hat unsere Herzen, die wir gerade vor Ort waren und auch die Herzen der Mitarbeiter sofort erobert. Die Entscheidung fiel einstimmig. Da sie von Anfang an so zutraulich und auch vertrauensselig war, bekommt Mya nun die Chance auf das beste Zuhause ''for ever''. Das gefährliche und mühsame Streunerleben hat damit (vorerst) ein Ende. Das immer wieder ''Mutter sein'' auch. Mya ist eine sehr offene und menschenbezogene Hündin. Schlechte Erfahrungen mit uns Zweibeinern scheint sie nicht gemacht zu haben. Sie hat sich beim ersten Spaziergang an Halsband und Leine, was sie vorher ganz sicher nicht kannte, schon stark an Udo orientiert und sich von ihm streicheln lassen. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass sie die liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit genoss. Sie hat seine Nähe gesucht und wollte geschmust werden. Und - hier explizit noch mal erwähnt - von einem Mann. Mya, wir können es nicht anders sagen, ist eine wirklich süße Hündin. Sie hat ein angenehmes und ruhiges Wesen. Sie wird eine Familie glücklich machen und die Familie, die sie adoptiert, wird dieses Glück tausendfach an Mya zurückgeben können. Gibt es etwas Schöneres, als dieser bescheidenen Hündin endlich ein sicheres Heim zu bieten, in dem sie das erste Mal in ihrem Leben geliebt wird? Das alles klingt jetzt pathetisch, ist normalerweise nicht die Art und Weise, unsere Hunde vorzustellen, aber Mya rührt auch das Herz der Autorin dieses ''Steckbriefes'' und so bitten wir wegen der rührseligen Beschreibung um Entschuldigung. :-) Ihr Alter ist schwer zu schätzen. Laut Angaben unserer Tierärztin aus dem Tierheim Schumen soll sie etwa im Juli 2019 geboren sein; sie könnte aber auch ein wenig älter sein. Es ist gut möglich, dass sie auch schon 6 bis 7 Jahre alt ist, gehört damit aber noch nicht zu den Senioren. Myas Zähne sind ziemlich abgerieben und sie hat ein großes Gesäuge. Im Laufe ihres Lebens hat sie sich sicher zweimal pro Jahr um Welpen kümmern müssen. Das immerhin ist nun Geschichte. Myas Größe war gut zu messen. Sie hat eine angenehme Schulterhöhe von ungefähr 45 cm. Sie ist sehr verträglich mit anderen Hunden. In der ersten Gruppe, in der wir sie integriert hatten, wurde sie gemobbt. Daraufhin haben wir sie in einem kleineren Auslauf untergebracht und da findet sie nun mehr Ruhe. Wir hoffen und wünschen uns für Mya, dass sie ganz schnell entdeckt wird und ausreisen darf. Mya ist gechipt, geimpft, kastriert und erfüllt somit alle Kriterien, ihr Heimatland, in dem sie unerwünscht ist, zu verlassen.
