Meet beautiful Nana 🖤 Nana is a gorgeous black Labrador-looking girl who will be around 4 months old when she arrives in the UK. She has been described as a very easy dog, with a lovely nature and a gentle, uncomplicated way about her. Nana is still only a baby, so she will need all the usual puppy training, including house training, lead walking, socialisation and learning how to settle into family life. She’s met cats and wasn’t bothered by them and didn’t react to them either. With her sweet temperament and happy outlook, Nana should make a wonderful addition to the right home. She will need adopters who are ready to guide her through puppyhood with patience, kindness and consistency. As with all young rescue dogs, her breed mix is unknown, but she has the look of a black Labrador type and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. DOB is estimated until confirmed by the official vet in Portugal when her passport is prepared. Nana will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including a Uranotest Quattro, which screens for Leishmania infantum, Ehrlichia canis, Anaplasma and Dirofilaria immitis antigen. She will also be tested for Canine Brucellosis and will travel with her own Portuguese passport. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
