Update as of May 31, 2026: Orso will arrive at his foster home in Switzerland with the next transport in July. Update as of July 4, 2026: Orso is now at his foster home in Switzerland. Gaby Moser is happy to provide information about Orso (—please leave a message on the answering machine; Gaby Moser will call you back.) Update as of July 12, 2026: 1st report from the foster home: Orso has already settled in very well at his foster home during the first week. He’s an extremely affectionate and cuddle-loving male dog. It’s almost hard to believe that he spent nearly 8 years in an Italian animal shelter, given how confidently he handles all environmental stimuli. However, there’s still some work to be done on his basic obedience. For the rest of his life, Orso would love someone who has plenty of time for him. He’d certainly make an ideal companion for retirees. He’s still in top shape and goes for two one-hour walks daily with the pack. We think Orso would prefer to be an only dog, as he craves lots of attention and companionship. Also, his new home should not have any cats. Gaby Moser erteilt gerne Auskunft über Orso (– bitte auf den Anrufbeantworter sprechen, Gaby Moser ruft dann zurück.) Update vom 12.07.2026: 1. Bericht von der Pflegestelle Orso hat sich in der ersten Woche auf seiner Pflegestelle schon gut eingelebt. Er ist ein seeeehr anhänglicher und liebesbedürftiger Rüde. Dass er fast 8 Jahre in einem italienischen Tierheim verbrachte, kann man fast nicht glauben, da er sehr souverän mit allen Umweltreizen umgeht. An seinem Grundgehorsam muss aber noch gearbeitet werden. Orso wünscht sich für seine restlichen Lebensjahre jemanden, der viel Zeit für ihn hat. Er wäre bestimmt ein optimaler Begleiter für Rentner. Er ist noch topfit und geht täglich 2 x eine Stunde mit im Rudel spazieren. Wir denken Orso wäre am liebsten Einzelhund, da er sehr viel Aufmerksamkeit usw. möchte. Und im neuen Zuhause sollte es keine Katzen haben. Wer gibt dem charmanten Schmusebär eine Chance und ein liebevolles Zuhause? Bilder / Videos von der Pflegestelle
