Om een hond van ons te adopteren, laat ons weten welke hond u geïnteresseerd is door het korte formulier op deze pagina in te vullen. Wij zullen u contacteren en een tijdstip afspreken voor een bezoek aan de hond. Als het bezoek goed verloopt, kunnen we een thuiskennisneming regelen om te controleren of uw eigendom geschikt is voor de hond die u hebt gekozen en als alles in orde is, een thuistest. Als de thuistest goed verloopt voor zowel u als de hond, wordt de adoptie bevestigd en wordt de adoptiepapierwerk gemaakt, inclusief de wijziging van de microchip en het adoptiecontract. We vragen ook een adoptiekost van €100 voor pups en €150 voor honden, wat sterilisatie omvat. Als u buiten Portugal woont, kunnen we nog steeds adopties regelen. Neem contact met ons op als u geïnteresseerd bent en wij zullen het proces uitleggen. Als u niet fysiek een hond van ons kunt adopteren, kunt u kiezen om een van onze beschermingshonden te sponsoreren voor €25 per maand. Sommige van onze honden kunnen niet worden hergeplaatst vanwege gezondheids- of gedragsproblemen en zullen bij ons blijven voor de rest van hun leven als beschermingshond. De maandelijkse donatie helpt ons om voeding, medicijnen en medische rekeningen voor uw gekozen hond te betalen. Om een van onze beschermingshonden virtueel te adopteren, neem contact met ons op met uw gekozen hond en wij laten u weten hoe u betaalt. Wij sturen u regelmatig updates over uw hond en u bent welkom om ze te bezoeken.

To adopt a dog from us, let us know which dog you are interested in by completing the short form on this page. We will get back to you and arrange a time to visit to the dog. If the visit goes well, we can arrange a home visit to check that your property is suitable for the you’ve dog chosen and if everything is OK then a home trial. If the home trial goes well for both you and the dog, the adoption will be confirmed and adoption paperwork will be completed including the change of microchip and the adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee of €100 for puppies and €150 for dogs which includes sterilisation. If you live outside of Portugal we can still arrange adoptions. Please reach out to us if you are interested and we can explain the process. If you are unable to physically adopt a dog from us, you could choose to sponsor one of our sanctuary dogs for €25 per month. Some of our dogs are unable to be rehomed due to health or behavioural issues and will stay with us for the remainder of their lives as a sanctuary dog. The monthly donation helps us to cover food, medications and medical bills for your chosen dogs. To virtually adopt one of our sanctuary dogs please contact us with your chosen dog and we will let you know the payment details. We will regularly send you updates of your dog and you are welcome to visit them.
