Principe – Abandoned by the family who once gave him a home Principe arrived at the pound in October 2026, aged around three years old. Sadly, this is not his first time here. But now, almost three years later, Principe has found himself back where his story began. His family brought him back to the pound, reportedly because they were separating. Whatever the circumstances, Principe is the one who has been left behind, facing life in a cage all over again. Principe has been living with a young child, and he seems to be a very sociable dog. He has already been introduced to other dogs at the pound, and so far, he appears to be getting along well with them. It is heartbreaking to see a dog who was welcomed into a home as a puppy end up abandoned by that same family years later. Principe deserved more than to lose his home and the people he knew.
