Ipovedente – 10 years old: My name is Nicholas and I was a Christmas gift in the best sense of the word. It was a few years back in December when the animal shelter staff entered the communal dog shelter, and among all the dogs present, they chose me. I was locked in an isolation box, lying on a cold wooden platform like marble. No one ever came close. On my file, it said "aggressive dog." Yet, they looked past that label. They signed a release to take me away because I was considered a dangerous dog. Today, I've found my smile. I'm not a dog who particularly loves being petted, but here, they've taught me that I know how to love too. Simply, I show it in my own way. I'm missing an eye, I'm positive for leishmaniasis, but today I finally have a name and someone who truly loves me. Can you do the same? Ipovedente – 10 anni: Mi chiamo Nicholas e sono stato un regalo di Natale, nel senso più bello che esista. Era dicembre di qualche anno fa quando i ragazzi del rifugio sono entrati nel canile comunale e, tra tutti i cani presenti, hanno scelto proprio me. Io ero chiuso in un box di isolamento, disteso su una pedana di legno fredda come il marmo. Nessuno si avvicinava mai. Sulla mia scheda c’era scritto “cane mordace”. Eppure loro hanno guardato oltre quell’etichetta. Hanno firmato una liberatoria pur di portarmi via, perché ero considerato un cane pericoloso. Oggi ho ritrovato il sorriso. Non sono un cane che ama particolarmente le carezze, ma qui mi hanno insegnato che anche io so amare. Semplicemente, lo dimostro a modo mio. Mi manca un occhio, sono positivo alla Leishmaniosi, ma oggi ho finalmente anche un nome e qualcuno che mi vuole bene davvero. Vuoi farlo anche tu?
