Purdy shares a very special bond with her best friend Sansa, and they take great comfort in one another's company. Because they are so closely attached, we would ideally love to see them rehomed together to give them the very best chance of settling successfully into their new home. Purdy finds other dogs worrying and prefers to stay close to Sansa rather than interact with unfamiliar dogs, so her new family will need to be understanding of her concerns and help her avoid overwhelming situations. She can be a little fussy with treats but especially enjoys meaty ones, and she will always choose a cuddle over a game with toys. In the right home, Purdy and Sansa will blossom and make wonderfully affectionate companions who will reward patience and kindness with endless love. Purdy is an approximately 7-year-old, medium-energy girl looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to build her confidence. She is incredibly friendly with new people and loves nothing more than a fuss and a cuddle, often choosing affection over toys. Purdy can find new environments and unfamiliar situations overwhelming, as she hasn't experienced much of the world, so she will need a family who can introduce new experiences at her pace. She has not been left alone for significant periods before, so any time spent on her own will need to be built up gradually. Purdy can live with older primary school-aged children who understand the importance of giving her space while she settles into her new home. Please note we are looking to home Purdy and Sansa together.
